Best Homemade Brownies (Fudgy & Moist)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 ¼ cups granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk melted butter with sugars until combined.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix until smooth and glossy.
  4. Fold in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour batter into pan and smooth top.
  7. Bake 25–30 minutes, until edges are set and center is slightly fudgy.
  8. Cool completely before slicing.

Notes

  • Do not overbake for fudgy texture.
  • Add nuts or swirl peanut butter for variation.
  • Store in airtight container up to 4 days.
