Ingredients
  

  • pounds beef sirloin or ribeye thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms sliced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper
For Serving
  • Egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley

Method
 

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to the package directions.
  2. Sear the seasoned beef in batches and set aside.
  3. Sauté the onions, garlic, and mushrooms.
  4. Stir in the flour, then whisk in the beef broth.
  5. Add Worcestershire sauce and Dijon mustard, then simmer until thickened.
  6. Reduce the heat and stir in the sour cream.
  7. Return the beef to the skillet and heat through.
  8. Serve over cooked egg noodles with parsley.
